Pobednik or Victor is symbol of Belgrade, Serbia. The statue is made in 1928 by sculptor Ivan Mestrovic. Placed on the Kalemegdan fortress, Victor is holding a dove of peace on one hand and a sword of war in the other hand, and he is looking forward, across the rivers Danube and Sava.
